To cancel meeting for lunch?

Arranged with Dsis to meet her and her DS tomorrow for lunch. Me and my DS, 4 weeks.

Arranged by text. At the very end she mentions child has had her up all night with a cold. WIBU to cancel to avoid DS being exposed to the cold?

Don't know if I am being pfb or not.

I would go... You could run errands to the supermarket and expose your child to a cold... You could go for coffee alone and expose your child to a cold...

Go, and keep the kids separate... mentioning the cold as why.

Of course. I had already planned a trip to town.

Problem is nephew loves DS and Will want to kiss and cuddle him. I'll pop him in the sling then he won't be able to. :-)

I'd go, it's almost impossible to avoid colds anyway, but the sling idea is good, I still wouldn't want a poorly child sniffling all over my newborn!

Are you breastfeeding?

AlphabetStew · 24/08/2015 14:23

Unless you're planning to not eat anything I'd say you'll be fine.

Unless your child is particularly vulnerable. If he's in general good health then you're probably worrying too much.

I am breastfeeding yes.
