I have asked (via PM and on forum) for other MNers to do my washing for me. Because I'm effing sick of it (and my washing time is the weekend, so it all starts again tomorrow, and I haven't finished last weeks yet).

NOT ONE of you has offered. I thought this site was supposed to be about supporting each other. I didn't ask anyone to iron the clothes for me (although, would have been grateful).

Everyone who hasn't offered is crap.

Would anyone like to volunteer?

Sure, I'll do it. Send the money for the flight.

Orange1969 · 21/08/2015 23:10

Yer what now?!

echt · 21/08/2015 23:12

It's going to be sunny all day - 19. In Melbourne. I'm justing putting a whites wash on if you want to send you stuff over.

ghostyslovesheep · 21/08/2015 23:12

have you ever done another MN'ers washing?

queenmools · 21/08/2015 23:14

I love washing. I'll do it. Send it round.

arethereanyleftatall · 21/08/2015 23:17

Oh bugger. Wish I'd seen this sooner. I just put half a load on. And I hate doing that. Fuck.

chairmeoh · 21/08/2015 23:17

Ah, see, I would, but my machine is currently working overtime doing the whites. Then the sheets need doing, then the towels, then the darks, then the light coloured. All before its forecast to rain lunchtime Sunday. Soz.

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 21/08/2015 23:19

The amount my kids make, I won't notice a bit more...
Bring it round. It can dry outside.
Sorry, doc said I am not allowed to iron, as I burnt my hand last time (1996)

WorraLiberty · 21/08/2015 23:20

Just bung it in the machine and slam the door you lazy fuck Grin

Unless you're one of these earth mothers who insists upon taking your knickers to the local lake, and beating them against stones?

trashcanjunkie · 21/08/2015 23:42

What is an iron? Confused

grumpysquash · 21/08/2015 23:47

Where do you live? If you're local to me, I'll stick it in with mine. We do several loads on a Saturday, so no problem.

I'm assuming you mean laundry BTW, not actually washing you (might consider depending on circumstances)

Fatmomma99 · 22/08/2015 00:11

Thanks all, dropping it all round to you all now! Very grateful and appreciative. Feel bad for the PM I dropped telling her lousy she is for not doing it when you've all volunteered!

(Fancy Melbourne much! I'm heading your way with my DD's stinky socks!)

Not bothering with WhyCantIuse because of her lame excuses not to do the ironing which I didn't ask for but secretly want. Ditto trashcan

No, ghostly, because I am an entitled MN user (and I stealthboast too, did I mention my DD in my OP????)

Thank you to the rest of you Flowers V grateful not to have to do it myself!

Just dropped I in to tell Worra she's being meeeeeaaan. Grin

I hate washing. I'm not offering, sorry. I'm on holiday anyway so I've got a good excuse.

HackerFucker22 · 22/08/2015 07:55

I adore doing the laundry. I'd do more if I could. In fact I am often found removing clothes from the kids and DP in order to full up the machine for a wash I don't really need to do!!

I am also fabric softener obsessed. I can often be found down the washing powder aisle at my local supermarket sniffing various fabric softeners.

HackerFucker22 · 22/08/2015 07:55

*fill up the machine!

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 22/08/2015 08:14

Sorry. But I would hate to go against medical advice.
That burn was nearly an inch long!

Donotknowhownottomind · 22/08/2015 08:14

I'll do your washing, as long as you let me use your drying space for some of my stuff. Tumble drier packed in, and weather has been iffy. Have resorted to hanging things like towels over doors, which of course rather adjusts the ambience of my little home it's was awful yesterday, like a fucking chinese laundry

Fatmomma99 · 22/08/2015 12:10

It's a deal Wicked, thank you.

WhyCantIuse - I think you need to get back on that horse. When these lovely MNers have finished doing my chores for me, I think it's only for your self-improvement that you do all our ironing. Ok all? We'll drop it round to WhyCantIuse's later.

Ilovesooty, I'll allow your excuse this time.

ilovesooty · 22/08/2015 12:12

Thanks Grin

DextersMistress · 22/08/2015 12:15

I'll wash and dry it for you but you can come and put mine away. There's always a pile of clean clothes somewhere in this house.

Fatmomma99 · 22/08/2015 12:20

That's DH's job here, Dexters, I'll send him round.

WorraLiberty · 22/08/2015 12:27

If you're on holiday sooty that means you have plenty of time to do the OP's washing, especially if you're near a swimming pool Hmm

BoffinMum · 22/08/2015 12:32

Stick it in the paddling pool and I will get the kids to jump up and down on it for you.
