I thought "cockwomble" was a MN thing too, but I've been told on here that it's not (though I've never heard it elsewhere)

But I do reckon Adam would be a MNer

There's already a thread about this, but 'cockwomble' has been in the urban dictionary since 2004.

I think it's a phrase that Mumsnet has wrongly 'claimed'.

Just like 'words on a screen' and 'fuck off to the far side of fuck' etc...which have been around the internet for donkey's years.

Have you seen the BF rant he did with Jennifer Saunders? That was one of the best ever. My favourite rant is still the NHS/Gove/Hunt/massive bunch of cunts one. I youtube it frequently and laugh every time.

Cockwomble was a term used when I was at university near Wimbledon to refer to people who did stupid things ... That was 20 years ago
