...about Not on the high street

I ordered some bracelets from NotHS last week. They were listed as being reduced from £16 to £4.90. The thing about NotHS is that it's supposed to be crafty stuff that you can't get elsewhere.
Anyway, the parcel arrived this morning and the bracelets are from Fat Face with the labels still attached (as well as a £12 price tag). I wouldn't have ordered them if I'd known but don't know whether I can be bothered to go through the whole returns process now.
AIBU or is this really cheeky?

I dislike NOTHS. The company I work for has tried to apply a couple of times, but we've been rejected with no reason. I guess we're not cool enough (or high street enough?), even though they sell stuff by companies who have ripped off our ideas. Angry

NOTHS takes a 30% cut so I imagine businesses have to make this up by uplifting their prices to sell through NOTHS. Very disappointing to see the labels still on and from Fat Face - I'd complain as, as you say, it is from teh high street

I saw a lamp on there for £50+ that I found in The Range for £20Shock

I would complain.

I've ordered 2 silver bracelets over the last 5 years from them ( different sellers) and both have broken. They were proper silver ones but the 'dangly charm bits' are just linked on and not soldered so lost them within a matter of weeks. Second one my Dad bought me and same thing's happened plus the gold heart turns out not to be gold at all as it's all rubbed offHmm

I contacted them both times and both times they were replaced but the same thing had happened again! Quality needs to be much better.

I've never bought from there, as their search function is absolutely shit. Impossible to narrow down if you're looking for something in particular.

For example, if I want a grey armchair in a mid century style, all I can search for is armchairs in a certain price range. Can't believe they offer furniture and lighting etc. and don't offer a search parameter for colour, era or material.

I'm really pee'd off with NOTHS (or should it be an individual seller on NOTHS). I paid £50 for a personalised keepsake box for DD1 back in 2012. I want to get an identical one for DD2, the seller is now charging £140 for exactly the same one! I don't feel I can justify spending that sort of money but I can't find any other ones that I like Sad
