AIBU?
AIBU to be upset with Safestyle windows? (I know I'm not...)

I just put the phone down in tears to Safestyle windows....
My patio doors have broken for the 4th time since they were installed in November.
Because I can actually lock the door this time they're not sending out someone to repair it until the middle of September!
So I know it's a first world problem but 5 weeks??!!
& they're ignoring me on twitter & Facebook
Wish I'd used a local company now

Try making a written complaint if you haven't already done so. Maybe you'll get a better response that way?
Although they are offering to fix it I'd suggest they replace the entire unit as it's failed so often, you haven't got the secure, functioning doors you have paid for and they need to put that right.

I would ring and speak to whoever the manager is there, and if no joy, get their manager's contact details and so on, not stopping until you get a suitable response.
We had a quote from them and the guy was ludicrously unprofessional. The quote itself was fine but we were totally put off by his behaviour.

We made the huge mistake of getting them round to give us a price for a couple of windows.
The con man who came round started off with an enormous price, then carried on the pretence in "phoning his manager" and coming down to a price that was still significantly greater than other prices we'd got. He stayed far longer than he needed to.
In the end we went with a local company who did a fantastic job, and we've used them ever since for similar jobs.
We kept on getting nuisance calls from Safestyle after that. One was abusive. No matter that I kept telling them we weren't interested and they should stop calling us they would phone repeatedly. I got short with them eventually, and rude (IIRC they called around 4 times in 4 days). That was when they were abusive.
We then started to receive silent calls from withheld numbers. I couldn't say for sure it was SS, but we got a trace on our line where, of we received another such call, we'd dial a number and they'd log the number it was sent from. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your view) we got no more calls after that.
