To think a bottle with a screw lid should be watertight?

Why do Aptamil 200 ml bottles bother with a screw lid when it doesn't actually keep the milk inside (or air out). At least with a carton of SMA you don't expect it to be OK and nursery don't put the half used container back in the bag where it leaks all over the car.

Grump over.

Other than specialised containers, I would never expect an opened screw cap to be watertight.

Boo to spilled milk though.
