Crossing on the Tunnel Saturday night, with 3 kids and dreading it now, with all the issues. We also have a four hour journey on the other side, so think it is going to be a loooong journey.
I am BU aren't i? Or maybe just extremely optimistic (hopeful/stupid) that i will get there and all will be right as rain??
Think i need to get loads of activities and foos for car Hmm x

Someone gave my mum this advice op and it always worked for her with us:

Before the journey, take your kids out on a fun day to the zoo or some where else fun, tire them out sufficiently so they have a chance of sleeping through the car ride?

I've just been fretting about this too. I'm off in a week. Please, please report back how it it. And if anyone has been through Calais/Folkestone recently...

Two weeks, d'oh.

Ollieplimsoles this is what i am hoping to do, one of them is only 14 weeks old tho so he is going to be hard work lol. We also may have an apparent 60-120 min wait at terminal, so may have to get them all out of the car ????
Milliontoonechances i will keep you up to date x

I'm finding the live tweet service reassuring. Operation Stack and all the chaos the other side doesn't seem to be affecting the passenger service.

We're off in 3 weeks going by ferry. Usually go Plymouth-Roscoff and stay in Brittany as we live in Devon. I was already dreading the drive to Kent and back.

My 7 year old will not sleep in the car but we have DVDs and her DS. Hopefully the younger one will sleep.

Sticking with Brittany Ferries in future.

Went through no problem by train when the stopages happened a couple of weeks ago. Dpil in car via tunnel also no problem. Hope you have a relaxing crossing x
