Pampers are asking parents to send a photo of their baby's/toddler's poo face in order to win some wipes. So - seems to me you are giving away all image rights to a photo of your child. More than that, one which they are likely to find pretty humiliating later on. Oh dear, no I wouldn't send a pic like that. Maybe they are looking for funny faces rather than poo faces but still I personally wouldn't enter my Ds into that.

Their Facebook page is full of photos of babies and toddlers actually doing poos. I'm just imagining how we as adults would feel if someone put that photo of us up on social networks... It's very weird and does not seem to consider child welfare at all

It's a horrible idea. Some people have totally lost all sense of privacy and dignity and respect for others (sorry if that sounds pompous).

As posters have said on other threads, it used to be bad enough before digital photography when parents could embarrass you by bringing out photos of you when you were little. But at least they were only shown to people that your parents knew and who were physically shown the actual photo.

I'd hate to be a child of an oversharing parent, growing up and knowing that there were photos of me on the internet that I might hate, but that any stranger could see.

I saw this on fb and had a giggle at the photos, I don't see the harm, there are loads of photos of me as a baby and child doing embarrassing things.
There was a thread on here a while ago where people including myself posted photos of our 'permanently surprised' babies, there were some howlers which I suppose could embarrass them when older but to me it captures the innocence of babies, same as the poo face photos, it's endearing in a weird way.

As an adult I'd be much more embarrassed of the pouty duck face selfie which are all over fb.

YANBU. All people deserve respect. Just because they are babies/toddlers that does not mean that they are objects to laugh at. When they are adults they can chose to post pictures of their faces while on the toilet if they chose. I'm surprised at Pampers doing this.

I'd struggle to be embarrassed, and certainly not humiliated, by any photo of me as a baby or toddler, even if someone had gone to the effort of trawling the internet for it.
I'd never post a naked photo of my child on the internet, for obvious reasons, but I can't get worked up over other photos and a poo face appears to be far less offensive than what I first assumed it was.
