To ask you how to hide a link within text?

Yep. Highlight the text you want to turn into a link, right click, choose hyperlink and enter the website address in the address bar at the bottom.

If you press ctrl k, you can insert a hyperlink. Highlight the word you want to be the link, ctrl k and paste in the www. address...

Oooh! Thank you thank you! SO much! Flowers It's for this reason that whenever my DH or Mum don't know something they say "Ask Mumsnet for me will you?"
