about what I saw at the zoo today

Have spent a long tiring day at the zoo. Can't say they're really my thing but DS2 wanted to go.....

Anyway, I didn't see anything requiring my judgy pants. No babies with fizzy drinks, no parents failing to keep their DC in line no big kids barging little ones out of the way, no rudeness or swearing or inappropriate clothing.

Quite possibly because I wasn't looking. It's only since I got home and opened MN that I realised I really should have seen at least some of these things

Mind you we did stop at Greggs on the way to get the sausage rolls for lunch, so maybe we're the family everyone will be posting about tonight

Yep, loads of mners will be hoiking their judgy pants right now after seeing that dreadful woman forcing a Greggs sausage roll down her young son's face.

I went to Bristol zoo in half term and didn't see any of those things either.

I was quite disappointed.

But they're 4 for the price of 3 so you were somehow benefitting the environment

Are you sure all the animals in their cages really were animals, and not children in onesies who were mistaken for animals by the zoo staff? You know, I'm not certain about that tiger at Whipsnade, surely real tigers walk on four legs, not two?

I was at the zoo today too, my two little darlings in tow and sporting an elderly DM on the other arm...

Ha ha! Went to Yorkshire Wildlife Park a couple of weeks ago with elderly DM in a wheelchair. Really nothing at all to be judge-y about either. Every one having a lovely day and being nice to each other.

There was one very little boy who made to pull a wallaby's tail but his dad swooped in just in time to stop him and everyone around just laughed.

Everybody without exception was polite and helpful with regards to wheelchair access, e.g. holding open gates or allowing us to take Mum to where she could get a good view.

Only thing I can think of was when we were buying ice creams a mum came back to the kiosk to say her little boy had dropped the scoop of ice cream from his cone and could he have another. They gave him one without question. How nice is that?

Hope you enjoyed your sausage roll. I am quite partial to a sausage roll.

Ah, now I see the problem PomBear. The list of things that offend me is too short. 3/4 linen trousers and flips flops wouldn't be my choice, mainly because I like proper shoes I can run in, but I had no idea I should be

I'm always amazed at the immaculately dressed lass wearing a mini skirt and 6 inch heels. You might look at home in Hoxton, love, but that look isn't cutting it at the hippo enclosure.

I went to a zoo in Tenerife and there were no people to complain about at all. I was most disappointed. However 12 year old DD was severely traumatised by watching a rather impressive mandrill masturbating and then eating the results. She cant even watch the Lion King any more
