It was in a cafe in a shopping center. Paid £2.65 for a cappuccino and got it in a paper cup. I asked the girl why it wasn't in a proper cup and she said "that's only if you have tea." Wtf is that about? Confused

Hmmm. I was going to say that their cups might be too tall for the spout, but the paper cup is probably higher.

I went to a pub for lunch the other day and ordered a bottle of beer, it came without a glass!

GooodMythicalMorning · 06/06/2015 15:05

Yanbu. Hate paper cups. They just squish as you attempt to take a sip.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 06/06/2015 15:09

I paid the same recently at a national trust property, 2.50 for a cup of tea in a plastic cup!Shock

CatherineOfAbdomen · 06/06/2015 15:12

Oh forgot to add Yanbu Blush

I hate that when your order a Latte these days that it comes in a tall glass with a handle - hate those glasses and they get too hot too. I'd be annoyed about the paper cups too unless it was take out.

usualsuspect333 · 06/06/2015 15:41

Ask for your latte in a mug.

larry5 · 06/06/2015 16:06

When we went to a National Trust site we had coffee in a cup but that was because they were in the middle of nowhere and had a very limited water supply so they didn't want to wash up and waste water.
