Rustling sanpro wrappers

AuntOlive · 06/06/2015 11:48

Aibu to expect them to be able to be unwrapped fairly discreetly?

In a public or work loo I sound like I am fighting with a roll of Sellotape.

It's the sticky winged ones which are the worst. Any recommendations for silent wrappers?

I don't care who hears me rustling. I heard my director doing it yesterday but didn't think 'oh x has her period tee hee' I just understood why she was not to be messed with the other day Grin. I can't do tampons they never sit right no matter what I do. Are moo cups better? How do you clean them when inside a cubicle? X

Sparklingbrook · 06/06/2015 15:09

I would get into all sorts of problems with a mooncup.

shitebag · 06/06/2015 15:10

I use reusable pads, they just have a little popper to hold them in place so no rustling or unsticking, the cup squelch does freak me out a bit though :o

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 06/06/2015 15:10

Fluffy - they hold loads so I never have to empty them during the day.

Mrsjayy · 06/06/2015 15:14

Just me who noticed fluffyears moo cups then

Mrsjayy · 06/06/2015 15:16

I would probably heave at squealchy noises

morethanpotatoprints · 06/06/2015 15:17

from the thread title I thought you were in the cinema and somebody was being noisy with a bag of sweets or something Grin
never heard of sanpro before Blush

42andGaffaTape · 06/06/2015 15:21

I feel in the minority here. I could never get the effort to care if people hear me rustle or plop. It's a toilet ffs. We all know why we are there!

ouryve · 06/06/2015 15:21

Why the hell do they need to be quiet? There's nothing shameful about menstruation, you know (despite the fact that my phone wants to change the word to something else entirely)

Sparklingbrook · 06/06/2015 15:27

I know it's not shameful but still I don't want to rustle. It's my problem though. I would rather nobody knew I had my period, especially people i work with.

Mrsjayy · 06/06/2015 15:36

I use the pink bodyform they are quiet and i have not noticed much of a rustle
