Actually I know i'm not!
I've been reading about this 'baby yoga' video on fb (fb have refused to take it down) so I decided to watch it, fgs, wish I hadn't! Its fucking appalling Shock Who in their right mind could think swinging a very young baby around in a bucket of water is beneficial Angry

YANBU.

It is child abuse. Have they not heard of shaken baby syndrome??

ChanandlerBongsNeighbour · 05/06/2015 19:15

I got a few seconds in and wanted to cry, had to stop watching!

footflapper · 05/06/2015 19:17

If its all over the net I hope child protection services are doing something about it Angry

watched two seconds of it, its fucked up and should be removed.

LynetteScavo · 05/06/2015 19:29

If it's that bad I won't watch it, but is it supposed to be beneficial to babies? Why do they do it?

Klayden · 05/06/2015 19:31

YANBU but it's been going on for years. Every so often, angry new articles do the rounds.

LynetteScavo · 05/06/2015 19:34

"They are early readers, singers, talkers, swimmers. You haven't seen anything like it anywhere!"

Oh, OK...but are they better readers, singers, talkers, swimmers as adults? Nothing so great at being early at things if you plan to live to a ripe old age. Which you probably won't do if you've been swung around when a baby.

silverglitterpisser · 05/06/2015 19:37

Absolutely awful Sad .

FlumptyDumpty · 05/06/2015 19:42

It made me cry. That poor, poor baby. I just hope Facebook gives child protection police enough info so they can get the bastard doing it and rescue the child.

Uhplistrailer · 05/06/2015 19:47

Ohh that made me feel so ill.

Who is that woman and on what grounds does she think that's a good thing to do to a newborn?

RackofPeas · 05/06/2015 19:54

I saw a still shot of it on the BBC news website. That alone made my stomach churn.
Why? Why would someone do something like that to a defenceless baby?
