For no other reason than to eat the contents out the jar?

In my defence I was in Asda the other day and found they had more flavours than my brain could comprehend and I'm desperate to try them.

ChuffinAda · 03/06/2015 16:45

They had bourbon biscuit, jaffa cake, some biscuit one that looks like peanut butter, white chocolate...

It will make you sick.....................

goldeline · 03/06/2015 16:48

White chocolate spread is glorious and YWNBU to eat an entire jar. I still scan the shelves for Milkybar spread as it was by far the best but sadly got discontinued many moons ago.

ChuffinAda · 03/06/2015 16:50

I'm sure it'll be worth it

I didn't like the bourbon one. I try to avoid buying them now, as nice as they are, they are basically a jar of fat and sugar.

Sorry for double post.Blush

WanderWomble · 03/06/2015 17:49

They make super buttercream.

GobblersKnob · 03/06/2015 17:51

Not even slightly unreasonable, but super addictive and I'm currently exercising off my addiction and have had to ban them from the house Wink

Custard cream spread is the best thing in the world. I don't know if they sell it in Asda, I saw it in Tesco.

ifgrandmahadawilly · 03/06/2015 18:23

YANBU.

ItsTricky · 03/06/2015 18:54

Where in asda is this stuff? How come I've never seen it?

ChuffinAda · 03/06/2015 18:55

I found it with the jams and preserves and peanut butter. Whole shelves of flavours to choose.

Oh god. I'm knew about lotus biscuit spread but not these.

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 03/06/2015 18:56

I haven't had any of this stuff. Mind you, I don't like Nutella, so I suspect it would be wasted on me anyway.

HarrietSchulenberg · 03/06/2015 22:15

YAdefNBU, but you need to broaden your diet by adding salted caramel spread/sauce to your from-the-jar repertoire Grin .

cariadlet · 03/06/2015 22:24

This is my guilty secret. I'm vegan so it's often easy to kid myself that I'm being virtuous when really I've only been able to walk past the bars of chocolate cos I don't eat dairy.

Then I discovered biscuit spread and bourbon spread. They're hidden at the back of a cupboard where dd and dp don't bother to look. I don't think I've ever bothered actually putting them in a sandwich or on a piece of toast. It's amazing how many spoons you can eat before you start to feel a bit sick. Blush

AnyoneForTennis · 03/06/2015 22:28

They seem to be gaining in popularity with new flavours being added frequently

And then people wonder about obesity crises

Reignbeau · 03/06/2015 22:29

I really want the Jaffa cake one now.

cariadlet · 03/06/2015 22:33

I shouldn't have read this thread. Now I've got a craving for something sweet. But I haven't done the supermarket shop for a few weeks and so I've run out of spread.

I don't think we've got anything unhealthy in the house at the moment. Unless I sneaked some of the cooking chocolate ....

ginzillas · 03/06/2015 22:37

Biscuit spread?! How did I not know about this?

Will be banging on Asda's doors tomorrow at opening time.

Jaffa Cake spread....oh wowzers.
