..To think Sainsburys have the most aggravating webite

I am trying to shop for a microwave oven. I know Sainsburys do several but I wanted to compare before going to the store tomorrow.

I have tried many ways to actually see any microwave ovens on their website but nothing is coming up. I can see toasters and slow cookers.I can see microwaveable rice ( a scary variety of these).I have used a tablet and a laptop to search but no matter what I do I cannot see the ovens themselves.

Is it me?

Just had a look and was directed to the link below, they don't sell them online anymore apparently?

TracyBarlow · 31/05/2015 16:36

Correct. They stopped selling bigger stuff online earlier this year. They are concentrating on groceries and Tu.

KillmeNow · 31/05/2015 16:43

Thanks for looking too *HeffalumpsnWoozles

I dont want to buy one online though. I only want to look at their range .This used to be possible but seems to have been withdrawn.

The link you kindly posted tells me I can phone my local store for information about microwaves. How quaint . Just like the 1980s.

I suppose that's progress for you.

I find it odd and annoying that you cant buy their TU clothes online.

They do a bra which fits me beautifully when i can get it in my size, and for only £6 - but i think only one or two of each colour are ever sent to the shops and get snapped up almost instantly (34G) I'm very lucky if i find one. I swear if i could buy them online i'd get about 20 of 'em!

SilverDragonfly1 · 31/05/2015 17:21

I SO agree! It would make my life so much easier if I could get clothes from them online instead of having to trek two towns over on public transport. I'd be quite happy to pay postage as well!

Also was looking for a personal DVD player recently and again, couldn't find one on their site, so I bought elsewhere rather than risk going up there and finding they didn't have any in my price range. So they're not doing their business any favours!

Limer · 31/05/2015 17:23

Agreed. Just placed a big grocery order (as I do every week) and wanted to include some white sports socks. Not available online!

mrssmith79 · 31/05/2015 17:24

Sainsburys clothing has been available online for a while now

I like their TU clothes but can't always get the plus sizes in store. They also do good multipacks of t-shirts for kids. So it would be very helpful if I could "click and collect" as I don't live far from my local store. In the one in Bell Green Sydenham (London) they still do some small appliances like toasters etc. They are wanted!

mrssmith79 · 31/05/2015 17:30

You can click and collect though, like I said, link above.

SilverDragonfly1 · 31/05/2015 17:32

Only to people with special invitation emails, according to that link :( I thought it was surprising as it was only two weeks ago I was hoping to buy jeans online there!

SilverDragonfly1 · 31/05/2015 17:34

Elitist buttholes :(

BoulevardOfBrokenSleep · 31/05/2015 17:36

Mrssmith, your link goes to a special 'invitation only' pilot access page, sadly for us uninvited plebs!

mrssmith79 · 31/05/2015 17:36

Ah, them, not me I hope?? Grin
I've used it twice... must be rolling out to the non-elite soon though Wink so that's hopeful.

I feel so special Star GrinStar

SilverDragonfly1 · 31/05/2015 18:24

Haha, totally them mrssmith! I am very envious of you though!

I hope it does come out soon, maybe you could ask them on behalf of us lesser mortals? Wink

AntiHop · 31/05/2015 22:27

I really wish they'd sell their clothes online.
