to think lie-ins and days off don't help?

I am 31weeks pregnant, have a 3 year old and work full time, as does my oh. Like most parents, I regularly yearn for time out for myself but apart from a Saturday afternoon nap which I love, I find the weekend lie-in just leaves me feeling groggy or in nedd of spending the whole day slobbing, which of course I can't. I actually feel better the day I'm up early. .

Today I am off and took rest day at home and I feel stupified now after long lie-in and catching up on tv.. does anyone else find this? Maybe I need to actually get up and out and do something for myself instead but when I feel tired I feel like all I want is sleep!!

I'm the same. I've been lazy today (school hols) didn't get dressed till gone 11. Kids are mostly watching tv/playing in garden. I feel so lethargic and drained from doing nothing! (Makes no sense)
Wish I'd just got up early/planned something to do! I'm being my profile name to the full today!

That's it exactly. Thought this day would be heaven but am going to be more tired going to pick my ds up than I usually am after a day in work!

If I spend too long in bed I feel ill. I get headachey and sore from lying for too long

What do you do to reenergise/take time to yourself? Since ds was born the only thing I miss is proper sleep so thought that's what I should do when get a chance. .
