The biggest load of smeg on TV?

It is beyond twee. I just find the whole tone of the programme so smug and obnoxious. Whoever wrote it clearly hankers after the 'good old days' of colonialism.

Are we meant to find it endearing or something?

And it's the same story (and frequently the same video reel) every time, just in a different country.

I saw this for the first time today - what a load of shit! And I agree about Same Smile, although that at least tries to have a positive message.
I Can Cook annoys me as well.

I haven't seen 'Me Too' but 'Same Smile' is pretty irritating. It's those crap songs that the presenter seems to make up on the spot.

Oh dear... My 2yo loves teacup travels! & me too! (& tbh as me too is on at stoopid o'clock i can't say I've ever actually seen it, as I'm generally still prising my eyelids open at that time) although I have to say she's a bit of a shameless tele addict and would watch almost any old crap given half the chance... Smile

And have you ever noticed, they always have to climb the mountain, cross the wonky rope bridge etc on the way there but they just walk back?

It's a load of rubbish. And I hate Me Too, it's embarrassingly bad. Why is it the first thing on at 6am? It's bad enough I'm up at that time without being subjected to Me Too first thing!

I watched it once thinking it would be like the programmes I watched as a child, the borrowers, box of delights etc. Was really disappointed. I've introduced my lot to my old favourite programmes on youtube. DS1 keeps asking why everything else has got better since I was young but children's tv has got worse.

I think I must be the only person on the planet who likes 'Me Too'. It's shite but wonderfully surreal. I like that it's a bit off kilter and sinister. Like invasion of the body snatchers.

Teacup Travels is unadulterated dross though.
