To Be annoyed about Eurovision?

fair enough lots of people enjoy it and that's fine
But WHY is it that every time this or some bloody football is on, they cancel casualty? I've watched it pretty much religiously since it started in the 80's, and is something I look forward to sitting and watching on a Saturday night with a glass of wine.
But tonight will be spent channel surfing trying to find something to fill the void
How sad am I ?

Trust me, there's nothing on any other TV channel tonight either. (Am also grumpy)

You need a PVR box. They're great. I can catch up on programs I didn't watch during the week instead of aimlessly channel surfing.

I haven't watched Casualty since 1997, but happened to catch the end of it the other week. Seen as you're at a loose end, OP, can you tell me why Charlie was driving a vehicle in a reckless manner with what appeared to be a seriously injured passenger?

Ooh thanks Chuffin and Mavis - sounds very exciting! I was always sad that Charlie didn't end up with Baz. I used to watch the episode where they looked at the baby scan again and again. Looking back, I may have been a tad over - invested. Actually, come to think of it, presumably that baby scan was Louis. Christ on a bike, how old is he now????

It doesn't bother me that Eurovision goes on BBC1, but surely they could move casualty to BBC 2 or 3, that wouldn't bother me in the slightest, it's just the fact they just cancel it, it's not fair

I think I knew she died Mavis, although I'd stopped watching by then (went away to university, no telly, then never got back into it). I feel old too! Thanks for all the info; hope you find something else to watch (or get sucked into Eurovision - you never know, you might enjoy it!).

I agree they should put it on BBC2, when there's some major event on BBC1.

I love last weeks episode too, although I was a bit gutted Cal and Ethan wasn't on. I love Holby City too for the eye candy

I love Eurovision but I agree, I hate the way Casualty is always the thing to be shoved around in the listings and is often cancelled.

Did you watch The Musketeers? Fucking hell, there were only ten episodes and they took about four breaks in the run. Infuriating.

There are so many channels, I really don't understand why they have to muck people about.
