I was sitting on the sofa with both DD's. A DVD (on a shelf with others and been there a while) slid out and fell to the floor.

I am not at all convinced by haunting / spirits / energy or the like.

Can one DVD (due to it's position or something) be affected by vibrations from traffic?

Anyone know what it could be?

Yes movement/vibration can cause something to move so slowly its not apparent, until the point at which said item has no support/is no longer in a position of being upright etc, and it falls.

Good. I shall be firm on that reason with DD. They were ridiculously excited about it!

Agree with Fergal
unless you live in Enfield........

flora717 · 19/05/2015 12:44

No. Smile I bet that's why they were excited though. No doubt chats about it at school/ seen an advert (somewhere).

What DVD was it??????

noblegiraffe · 19/05/2015 12:55

A massive spider pushed it out. It's now watching you through the gap.

There was a museum near us with a statue in a glass cabinet that appeared to be rotating on its own, tge CCTV footage was really creepy, it was an old Egyptian artefact. Turned out it was vibrations from footsteps/traffic.

Is there a door on same wall as the shelf? Opening and closing the door might be making things move slightly.

Jackie0 · 19/05/2015 13:05

Please say it was The Exorcist

KurriKurri · 19/05/2015 13:31

Its haunted. No question. Throw it away.

This exact thing happened to me, and when I investigated further, I found out that a woman had died in my living room while watching that very DVD.

(not really)

And she left it behind on the shelf?
