at dp cos he lost screws to babies cot and now we cant put it together. this is not the first time something like this has happened. he has no idea how to mind/be careful with stuff. he has a shed full of 1/2 broken crap which he doesn't want to throw out 'just in case'. if I don't personally oversee everything in our house it ends up broken/half/carelessly done. he's good guy underneath it all and sometimes I can let it go but other times it gets on top of me.

Yanbu to be annoyed. But it's easy to get new screws, so not worth falling out over. (Says the women who ended up using lost screws as an excuse to buy a new cot)

So knowing this why didnt you do it as a team? You hold the bits and he puts it together then?

No ones perfect, he has things he's good at and so do you. Work on that and you'd go far. Does he tell you how inadequate you are?

cos crustsaway I had a moment of madness when he was dismantling it previously, and thought he'd be able to put all, not just some of the screws away, so I left him to it........(big, massive sigh). its just the way he is................its just another reminder to me to keep an eye when he's doing something next time that has multiple parts.

no because he can't lie !!!! only joking : ) I'm over it now, cos I know its only small fry, and I am lucky to have him really. I just like a place for everything and everything in its place, but he doesn't operate like that.

So you are two different people obviously, you like a place for everything so a bit OCD and he isnt. Meet in the middle and stop rolling your eyes.
