Or should we take a really hard line on illegal immigrants?

I think the Australian immigration policy is very sound

That story made me smile today.

I cannot imagine a British minister deliberately saying bugger in a planned statement.

LaurieFairyCake · 14/05/2015 23:14

I don't agree

I wouldn't be taking advice on immigration from folks who treat their indigenous culture so poorly

LaurieFairyCake · 14/05/2015 23:15

Lol Grin

Just assumed you were Ukip

Open the link, folks.

Aboriginal rights are just as protected by this one, as are other unique features. Like wombats.

LaurieFairyCake · 14/05/2015 23:17

They're not really going to kill them Shock

If I was Depp I'd get right back on the damn plane and leave with them

limitedperiodonly · 14/05/2015 23:18

I saw Pistol and Boo under house arrest.

I fear for them being deported on a boat with hungry migrants.

GiddyOnZackHunt · 14/05/2015 23:20

My god! They're treating them like animals Shock

AuntieStella · 14/05/2015 23:20

He's rich enough to be able to send them back with their own nanny.

And the minister was absolutely right, that the law applies to everyone (even Jack Sparrow, 3 times planet's sexiest man).

HeeHiles · 14/05/2015 23:24

There's no link for the petition!

I can't work out whether that government minister is taking the piss with a magnificent poker face or not.

But this stupid cunt is taking it deadly seriously

nice hair though

He's only twice the planet's sexiest man AuntieStella

What does it mean for us?

We are a a nation of dog lovers and yet the Australian point system to imigration is rather tempting...

AuntieStella · 14/05/2015 23:31

I'm clearly too dazzled to keep track of numbers!

BananaInPyjama · 15/05/2015 10:15

Having spent thousands and much paperwork importing our cat from (rabies free) UK to Aus, I agree with Barnaby Joyce- despite his silly name.

Rumour has it that the dogs may not be allowed back into the USA without the correct paperwork

AnguaResurgam · 15/05/2015 10:34

Fortunately, he owns his own Bahamian island, so the dogs could go there whilst he sorts out the proper permits to wherever he wants them to live.

VacantExpression · 15/05/2015 11:03

^ I could meet them on the island and look after the dogs for him while he sorts it all out....

limitedperiodonly · 15/05/2015 14:49

The name is like a snivelling toady in a Dickens novel Bananas

I feel it would be much more dignified to simply say: 'Cap'n Jack and his yapping threats to society will be treated like everyone else. Now if you don't mind I have a government department to run, cane toads to squash, and a 2,000 mile rabbit-proof fence to maintain to keep our fair nation safe for decent people.'

But maybe he's having a laugh.

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 15/05/2015 14:53

I think they should be locked up for a period of time and checked for rabies, isn't that what we do.

I don't know... illegal immigrants sneaking into countries and going to grooming parlours - where are our native breeds supposed to go.

limitedperiodonly · 15/05/2015 15:14

Yes chaz. If the illegal immigrants were working in grooming parlours, that would be a different kettle of fish.

I do like a nice cheap manicure.
