ust taken me 3 goes to write crap on a thread

am on an iPad
does anyone else get the vanishing keyboard as you type
then annoyingly you click link where the keyboard used to be and so anything you managed to write vanishes
I though it was ios8 but been updated
turning off auto correct and compete didn't help

This is why I only write crap on threads when I'm using my laptop. I lose posts all the time on both my phone and the tablet. I like a clicky keyboard.

Unfortunately I don't have an iPad so I can't actually help you solve your problem. I'm just commiserating.

Yep, mine does this. Autocorrect is out of control too.

In fact, I thought the other day I'd start a thread written without any corrections as a bit of light relief from election stuff.

I do sometimes have problems cutting and pasting, though.

Yep. More than half the keys disappear. I copy the text I've written, shut down the app from the home button, reopen, find the thread and paste. I thought it was just me. Clearly not.
