Ex Lib-Dem voter and I will probably be voting Green even though they haven't a hope in hell of getting in where I live. There are no parties that represent me 100% and I feel like the Greens are offering a lot of fresh polices (as well as quite a few crazy ones) but I am ready for change.

I've never voted, and I know nothing about all the different parties. Can someone give me a quick rundown of each one and what they stand for? I really want to vote tomorrow for the first time. Thanks!

Sallystyle · 06/05/2015 11:53

I've already voted (postal).

I voted labour in both general and local elections.

TeaorcakeTeawins · 06/05/2015 11:57

Cancelling myself out by proxy voting for a friend - I'm voting one way in a marginal, she's voting the other way...

BifsWif · 06/05/2015 11:58

spudholes go to voteforpolicies.org.uk and take the survey, it's really helpful if you're not sure who to vote for.

Conservative mainly because I think stability is needed most now for the economy. And I detest and loathe Ed balls. The final deciding factor though was eds ridiculous carved stone. I mean really ffs.

Galaxymum · 06/05/2015 12:09

DH is staunch Tory who hates Ed Balls with a passion. I am such a floating voter and have been swayed back to the Conservatives in the past week due to Ed's ridiculous stone tablet and his poor performances. I think we have a far more stable economy with the Conservatives and finally I have been swayed by the Tory candidate being local whereas Labour have shipped in a woman candidate from another area and she has been sponsored by high ranking Labour people.

weeblueberry · 06/05/2015 12:10

I'm voting SNP and DP is voting labour.
