FFS, does it really have to start so young? Admittedly this is just one company but at what point does someone wake in the morning and think "yes, my 6 month old won't be a real girl until she has a pair of heels"? I find the posing of the babies in satin, lace and leopard print a little distasteful too.

Oh my word they are vile vile vile. What on earth is the point of them? Confused

Yuk.

JeanneDeMontbaston · 01/05/2015 23:41

They've been around for years, sadly.

Missmonkeypenny · 01/05/2015 23:41

YANBU. For me, it's on a par with shoving newborns in jeans, getting ears pierced and the rise in 'baby bikinis'. Why can't we just let out babies be babies, they grow up fast enough as it is.

Aeroflotgirl · 01/05/2015 23:47

No no they are not the thing at all, look awful. I hate the way they are marketed, using words like glamorous, and diva for a baby Shock.

TheNumberfaker · 01/05/2015 23:52

Ugh.

3 letters is just about all the effort I can summon up to waste on high heels for babies.

MrsTerryPratchett · 02/05/2015 01:19

Perfect. The only time it is sensible to wear heels that high is when you can't actually walk. Confused

MrsTerryPratchett · 02/05/2015 01:22

BTW, take the time to watch their video. Very very strange people... or person, they look exactly the same but with different hair. Also; THE TEETH!

hamiltoes · 02/05/2015 01:48

Wow. Shock

My eyes!! Especially the sickly shade of leopard.

daffsandtulips · 02/05/2015 01:55

Nutters!

EstRusMum · 02/05/2015 01:57

Ugh. Wtaf? They look awful. Confused

LilQueenie · 02/05/2015 02:02

the founder of them stated they are only a fashion accessory for mothers to put on their their babies. If you think a baby is an accessory dont have kids ffs.

Mermaidhair · 02/05/2015 02:39

They would be cute without the heel:)

Good grief.
They just look nasty.

shewept · 02/05/2015 06:51

They have been around years. I have never known someone actually buy them. They are truly horrible.

Pontouf · 02/05/2015 06:51

MrsTerryPratchet Bloody hell, you're right. That video is terrifying and sinister.....

The shoes are ridiculous and just part of the whole baby bikini, stupid headbands with MASSIVE flowers on them, t-shirts with ridiculous adult slogans in them thing that makes me despair of society.

DevonFolk · 02/05/2015 06:55

Pleeeeaaase could someone do a clicky link? I need to see these but am on my phone Sad

seventeen · 02/05/2015 07:03

Urgh they actually make the baby's feet look deformed!

As they are advertised as "crib shoes" it's obvious they're just meant for decoration though. Presumably bought by people with more money than taste....

It's babies-as-playthings isn't it? Dress them up and parade them round...

DevonFolk · 02/05/2015 07:06

Oh good grief. The poor babies that wear these are the child beauty pageant contestants of the near future aren't they?

SueBigFatSue · 02/05/2015 07:14

The prints are all very 'hooker'. Crib shoes are meant to be a soft little pair of dainty ballet shoes or the like, not a fugly pair of high heels.

ilovefiltercoffee · 02/05/2015 07:18

That is disgusting and a sexualisation of very young babies, simply sick. Those high heel shoes look like a fetish thing although I'm sure some ignorant idiot people just think they are cute or funny. How would people feel about high heels for dogs? That would be seen as animal cruelty, no?

I feel especially sickened after reading a shocking headline about a baby rapist on the BBC news site. Here is a link but don't open it if you don't want to feel horrified www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-32538905.

I'm not saying that the two are logically linked but the way babies are portrayed as sexy is sick, sick, sick. Sad Shock

NaiceVillageOfTheDammed · 02/05/2015 07:19

"She maybe small but your little princess is already a diva in the making"

"A fashionable baby just can't be fully dressed..."

"... your baby girl simply must have her own pair..."

Says it all really.

bensam · 02/05/2015 07:43

Truly awful. Turns my stomach to see babies dressed like this.

KatoPotato · 02/05/2015 08:04

Gads, and I thought these were bad enough

So high heels for babies are now a thing??
