To want to be canvassed for my vote?

Our constituency is a 'key marginal' and yet I haven't seen anyone out canvassing for votes.
In fact I've never been canvassed - even though I am a 'floating voter' - so what's wrong with me? Does my house look a bit politically biased? Does my accent give something away? Can they tell my political allegiance through some 'Yoda' political trick that I, as a pleb, am not aware of?

So - has anyone else been canvassed (or am I the only nerdy one Grin)

I've never been canvassed.

It would put me off. Too needy.

I'm also in a key marginal and it would appear that I am too old to be of any interest. The two main parties and they are the only ones with any hope of winning are focusing all their attention on young voters, they are going into the sixth forms to speak, all communication is addressed to the young voters that arrives at the house and the person who came to the door only wanted to speak to them. Since they obviously don't want my vote it will go elsewhere.
