Wrong time of month but honestly am I glad I'm not in the office today - everyone and everything is P-ing me off to a completely unreasonable extent! Argh!

How do I stay professional, calm and polite?!

bilbodog · 23/04/2015 11:40

breathe deeply and calmly - have tea and cake!

Anniegetyourgun · 23/04/2015 11:50

You wanna fight OP? Do you? DO YOU?

BlackeyedSusan · 23/04/2015 11:58

yes fuck off you fucking, fucker...

Blush oops it would seem that I am more than a little hormonal at the moment too. I can feel the nneed to murder someone, and I have a spot.. sure signs things are going downhill. someone should employ me in a packaging crushing plant as I could jump up and down on those fucking cartons and have them squashed flat and crated in no time.

breathe deeply, eat chocolate, and try to keep your blood pressure stable with sensible foods. go for a quick walk up and down the stairs....

DoraGora · 23/04/2015 12:02

I'll give you a fight. What would you like to fight about?

EverythingButTheKitchenSink · 23/04/2015 12:04

Haha this is exactly how I'm feeling today. Whoever invented PMS was a complete and utter cum stain. Seriously WHY? Also period pain? What's that about? Alright, bonkers rant over.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 23/04/2015 12:09

fight fight fight!
come on you fuckers gloves off, sports bras on, let's get ready to RUMBLE!!!

squoosh · 23/04/2015 12:09

Well I feel like that too but I AM in the office today. Consider yourself lucky!

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 23/04/2015 12:10

and pant snot painAngry
fuck that too

Only1scoop · 23/04/2015 12:10

Could you fall out with your big toe?

PinkSquash · 23/04/2015 12:12

I am in that mood today. I could happily stamp and shout. Except that I think DH has PMT too, so he's doing that.

TheWanderingUterus · 23/04/2015 12:13

I have always thought that there is a huge gap in the market here. The first person to get up a soundproofed space where you can hit a dummy with a baseball bat, throw things, smash plates and scream at the top of your lungs is going to make a fortune.

Not suffering from PMT at all, oh no.

patterkiller · 23/04/2015 12:15

Put some Alanis morrisette on loudly, then shouty sing along at the top of your voice.

Magnesium really helps to keep me calm in my peri-/menopausal time of life. A doctor recommended it to me and I don't often completely lose my rag now.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/04/2015 12:25

Most people on AIBU are like that tbh Grin sympathies.

crazykat · 23/04/2015 13:18

I'm the same today, and the last few days. Everything irritates the shit out of me, the dcs are being extra annoying, ds2 is sleeping worse so I'm knackered.

Then there's the pain that feels like my insides are being torn apart, I was crying with it last night despite prescription codene and naproxen. It is honestly on par with the pain of contractions at times and painkillers just make me fuzzy instead of helping.

And to make it worse I'm trying to lose weight so can't have the huge bar of galaxy and tub of Ben and Jerry's that I'm craving.

MonstrousRatbag · 23/04/2015 13:37

For once I have no PMS, I jusst urgently need to shag DH, at length. Unfortunately the period-induced explosive farting put him off last night. He is, like, sooooo unreasonable.

Queenmarigold · 24/04/2015 13:28

OO Magnesium? That sounds interesting - although actually I've been taking it recently to help sleep. I feel better today (? took magnesium last night??) and so just period pains / cramps to cope with. Bliss. Not.
Still, I appear to have a job still so whilst I managed to p a few people off perhaps I didn't do it too badly!
Monstrous - lol! lucky you him!

I find it just takes the edge off the mood. :)

Well done on surviving the day without bloodshed.
