I would be horrified.

msgrinch · 22/04/2015 19:55

I cringe when people say/do this. A friend on Facebook always posts about her doing the shopping/school run in her pajamas. Lazy cow.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 22/04/2015 19:56

D'you live in Romford?
You'd be over dressed .

MeggyMooAndTinkerToo · 22/04/2015 19:56

I'd be clutching my pearls and reaching for the gin! There's no need to go shopping in PJ's, it takes 2 minutes to change FFS.

Hippymama1 · 22/04/2015 19:57

Go for it. I go to the supermarket all the time in my pj's. Grin

MrsTerryPratchett · 22/04/2015 19:58

Slippers is a terrible idea. Bleugh for hygiene. PJs are just clothes so I wouldn't care.

AuntyMag10 · 22/04/2015 19:58

It would've taken you longer to type this post than changing into decent clothing for shopping.

maroonedwithfour · 22/04/2015 20:00

Don't do it op. A

ShakesBootyFlabWobbles · 22/04/2015 20:01

My sister used to work in a supermarket on the night shift. The staff ALL judged the pj crowd.

Some people even carried around cups of tea from home too.

Stick your jeans on over your PJs, put your coat on and shoes. Takes one minute. YABU.

Sirzy · 22/04/2015 20:01

Stick some clothes on

MeggyMooAndTinkerToo · 22/04/2015 20:02

For those that do go shopping in pyjamas, I have to ask why?

Tryingtocoverthegrey · 22/04/2015 20:03

I'm already dressed I want to Change into my pjsGrin I'm getting old I need comfort.

Joshuajosephspork · 22/04/2015 20:04

I wouldn't care

Hippymama1 · 22/04/2015 20:05

meggy I admit it's sheer laziness for me... And sometimes hangover related. Usually just laziness. I don't do a full 'big shop' though as I live in the city and go to tesco metro. That's bit so bad, right? Wink

MaidOfStars · 22/04/2015 20:06

Pyjamas have become way too acceptable as regular wear. I gather some people even wear them during dinner!!!

faints

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 22/04/2015 20:06

Just pull on some slobby trousers and jumper, put some shoes on. Job done.

NerrSnerr · 22/04/2015 20:07

I would put clothes on over the top with my pjs under. Rarely, but would if I went out after I was ready for bed.

catgirl1976 · 22/04/2015 20:08

Sorry. I'm with the "pull some bloody clothes on" camp. YWBVU.

MeggyMooAndTinkerToo · 22/04/2015 20:08

That's bit so bad, right?

I never said it was bad at all. I just don't understand people going out in something they sleep in.

MeggyMooAndTinkerToo · 22/04/2015 20:09

I gather some people even wear them during dinner!!!

Nope, we don't.

teenagetantrums · 22/04/2015 20:10

I work in a supermarket we have people at all hours of the day in their pj.s dressing gowns, onesies, to be honest I prefer that than the half naked people that we as soon as the sun comes out, who then moan about how cold it is inside. Really who cares what you are wearing as long as you are not rude, or letting your kids run riot i'm happy.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 22/04/2015 20:12

I admit, I did the school run in my pjs but in my defence, I never actually got out of the car.

ErrolTheDragon · 22/04/2015 20:13

One morning I saw a fit young chap walking back from our village shop (when we had one) holding a pint of milk and wearing what appeared to be boxer shorts and nothing else. He was wearing as much as if he'd been on a beach I suppose! Grin

OP, undo your bra, put a woolly or cardi on over your clothes, comfy shoes (ugg type boots?) and get the shopping.
