To think the future is terrifying now I've seen these robots?

And I'm not talking about those creepy humanoid ones...

Boston Dynamics, funded by the US Millitary are coming up with the most able looking robots I've ever seen. The link is to their "Big Dog" robot in action...it's for "Search and Rescue" missions...I can see these things hunting people down though as well as bringing supplies!

This is why I say "thank you" to all my voice activated equipment.

I think they are scary - having watched Terminator too many times!

I anthropomorphise far too much to cope with robots- I was outraged when he kicked it and swore at the screen!

I was too! I thought he'd hurt it. but I lost sympathy when I saw how fast it can go up hills.

I think the rat-a-tat of it's little robotic paws is unsettling. Imagine being a fugitive and a herd of these buggers coming out for you! With infra red cameras and stuff.

I feel sorry for them....
