A friend contacted me about a month ago, to see if I could puppy sit for her for a weekend.

I said I could, but she wasn't sure of dates.

She got in touch 11 days ago to air of a certain weekend would work. I said it would, but I would need to know times. She said she would look into that at the weekend.

I messaged her three days ago to see of she has any more info.

I have heard nothing.

It's this coming weekend.

Aibu to think that she should have told me by now - she must know, she has flights to organise - and to be tempted to tell her that I am no longer available? Which isn't too far from truth, as I could do with working on the Sunday, as a colleague is off.

Take the work and if she contacts you just say you had heard nothing and got no response to your message so assumed it was off.
