To think it's horrible you could get bottled while doing a run for charity?!

I'd really, really love to bring attention to this great cause, especially in light of what this couple had to endure a few days ago...

www.myfancyyear.com and www.facebook.com/myfancyyear?fref=ts

Eve has been dressing in fancy dress EVERY SINGLE DAY since last July, the goal being a year, to raise awareness for coppafeel.org.

Now that they're in the last 100 days, she and her husband Dave are running 10K EVERY DAY to try and raise more awareness for their cause.

This past Saturday, they were in the middle of their run when they were accosted by some drunk teenagers, one of which BOTTLED Dave in the back of the head...they went to hospital to get him stitched up and continued their run after! That is dedication, man. Grin

Anyway, in light of recent stories of people scamming charities and stuff, this campaign warms my heart; this couple are doing all this for charity and I really feel like they deserve some likes, shares, retweets, and maybe some comments of support here?

The community where they live all came out to support and run with them last night....lovely story here: www.torquayheraldexpress.co.uk/Dozens-turn-run-alongside-bottle-attack-charity/story-26322069-detail/story.html#ixzz3X8O426xz

Now that you're all back from the school-run...

Seriously, I'd love if just one extra person 'likes' their page. I promise I'm not begging donations...just some awareness and positivity thrown their way. It annoys me when some appeals for personal gain get huge publicity and turn out to be scams while this little team of 2 are trying their hardest to raise awareness and money that will 100% go to charity and they only have 1/10th of the attention.

Saw this earlier but didn't have a chance to post. Really admire their dedication. Great to see the community come out and support them. I'm not on Facebook so can't 'like' but will post a Star instead!
