Shitting carpet beetles have turned up. Every damn year at this time. Apparently the building i live in has an infestation and its just a matter of managing them. Bastards.

I've just spent the last 2 hours ripping downstairs apart, where it's all laminate flooring. Upstairs is carpeted. It's going to take the rest of the day.

I'm considering opening a bottle of wine and saying fuck it.

Can someone else please deal with this for me?

I'll drink it into oblivion with you if you like. Dog fleas is my problem. No matter how much we spend on what various miracle cures NOTHING shifts the bastards - despite a nice few months when we thought we were free the fuckers are back.

Instead, I've decided to have a massive fuck off bubble bath because i have a sodding pulled muscle in my thigh and i just don't have it in me to clean any more.

Flea collar for the dog and every day stretch it a little so the powder comes out and run it through the dogs coat, they think their getting stroked but your killing the bastard fleas. We used to put collar on and wonder why she was still all flea infested then we found out you have to pull the collar to stretch the plastic and powder comes out.

You have my sympathy OP. It took 2 visits from Rentokill before I stopped getting attacked by nuclear-proof cat fleas. I actually wore flea collars round my ankles at one point.

With fleas you need to treat the animals with the heavy duty from the vet only stuff and completely do your house.
