My toddler has always been a good sleeper but my partner and I had to go away on a business trip for 2 nights. I left him at my house with his nana but since returning 3 weeks ago he has turned into the worst sleeper we have difficulty putting him to bed then he's waking near enough ever hour screaming the house down and due to my stress with work I gave in to the silly idea of putting him in my bed.
No it's snowballing and I'm shattered constantly due to him being in with us.
I really don't now what to do anymore I am not a fan off controlled crying as his cry breaks my heart but I can't carry on like this. I'm at a loss, any advice will be greatly appreciated..

Sounds like he is having separation anxiety. You need to establish a better bedtime routine for him because neither if you are getting enough sleep with him in your bed. It will be exhausting for a few days but every time he wakes up just go into him and comfort him until he falls asleep again, then he knows you are there for him. Then try the gradual retreat, hopefully he will soon get back into being the good sleeper you are used to!

Thanks for replying, I'm rubbish with it really I know I sometimes take the easy option which is in long run making a rod for my own back!!
He's always been such an easy bubba with the whole sleep but it's come like bolt out of the blue.
It's strange last night he was,nt as bad whereas the previous night it was a bad one.
I hate and dread bedtimes at the min.
I guess this to shall not last... Thanks again
