I am on a plane waiting for takeoff (within the UK.) Slight delay due to fog.

The children behind me are eating. Loudly. Eating some sort of beef crisps. I want to be sick.

They are talking. Loudly. The mother is talking loudly back to them. The subject of conversation is the youngest childs nappy.

My eldests seat is being kicked. Repeatedly.

My baby is getting grizzly herself because of the noise and the kicking and the LOUDNESS.

The rest of the flight is quiet.

Aibu to think SHUT UP

You might be being a little unreasonable about the talking/ eating crisps! You could turn round with a disarmingly friendly smile and ask them to stop kicking the seat though. Here's to a quick takeoff and a short flight to where you want to get to FlowersSmile

But does anyone really NEED to eat crisps at this early hour? And if they absolutely MUST, are beef and onion really necessary?!

I am a moaning old cow, I know. I have been up since 4!

Just politely ask for the kicking to stop.
