It only contained 6 mini packets of mini eggs.

I expected it to be full of mini eggs. Sad

YABU for opening up the egg before Easter Sunday.

Elledouble · 04/04/2015 21:54

Mini eggs come in mini packets full stop now Sad Can you even get the big tubes any more? And the normal bags are weeny too.

usualsuspect333 · 04/04/2015 21:54

It says on the front of the egg. I was going to buy one but decided it was a bit of a rip off.

tametempo · 04/04/2015 21:56

Ah... mini eggs in the tube. Those were the days.
Easter selection has been shit full stop this year.

usualsuspect333 · 04/04/2015 21:58

I didn't read the front of the egg. My sister bought it for us to share.

I'm not sharing it with anyone though,

All targeted 'easter' chocolate is crap. They just want your money... In return you get chocolate scented packaging

RebootYourEngine · 04/04/2015 23:40

I fancied some mini eggs about 2 months ago & the only thing the shop had were those plastic ones. Couldnt believe it when i opened it & saw what was inside. Mini eggs seem to be hard to get here this year.

HoneySwampDragonInMourning · 04/04/2015 23:45

I noticed the weight on it, so purchased 6 plastic eggs and 3 large packets of mini eggs for £3 instead Grin two packets will fill the 6 eggs and I will carefully dispose of the third.

MangoJuggler · 04/04/2015 23:46

Marks and Spencer had bags of their own brand mini eggs they were lush.

DramaAlpaca · 04/04/2015 23:50

Oh no! I've bought three of these for the DS's. They are going to be disappointed, aren't they? Sad

ThingummyJigg · 04/04/2015 23:59

You know this thread title without "the big plastic" and "mini eggs egg" would still solicit the same answer from me:

YANBU, Cadbury's is one big disappointment

FoxyVeganJane · 05/04/2015 00:00

I'm going to say again sainsbury egg 100g chocolate egg and 75g filling gummy sweets or chocolate drops etc for 80p. Four different designs.

They were even really lovely with my bombardment campaigns for those brilliant eggs filled with marshmallow chicks that sadly disappeared and promised they'd try and source them if it were possible for next year.

I'm made up with my few easter treats,I even got a lovely box of 29 eggs from ASDA for I think £4.

I avoid a lot of named brands now as they sadly don't live up to expectations.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 05/04/2015 00:05

i hate cadburys now :( they seem to have replaced their chocolate with brown wax. I thought you must all be exaggerating. so i bought a creme egg. One bite and I had to throw it in the bin.

Welshmaenad · 05/04/2015 00:11

Aldi's own creme eggs are the bollocks. Their chocolate bunnies are lovely too.

Koalafications · 05/04/2015 00:15

My tastebuds must be destroyed. I tasted a creme egg and I can't tell the difference.

TelephoneEggGnawingMachine · 05/04/2015 00:18

YANBU. Cadburys has gone to the dogs. Generally. It now contains shea butter, FGS. That has no place in confectionary!

Midori1999 · 05/04/2015 00:25

I too couldn't tell the difference when I had a cream egg...

ThingummyJigg · 05/04/2015 09:10

Shea Butter is lovely in those Huggies wipes though.

They put it in BUMWIPES, people, BUM. WIPES.

Om nom not.

I know a lot of people can't tell the difference but I think that those of us who really loved Cadbury's can.

RebootYourEngine · 05/04/2015 09:17

I didnt known what shea butter was so then i googled it. OMG. It is also used in moisturiser. I mean seriously. Think my love affair with cadburys is over. They wont care though. Their facebook page is full of people complaining about the taste and not once have cadburys replied.

Koalafications · 05/04/2015 09:28

I think that those of us who really loved Cadbury's can. Easter Grin you're right, I much prefer Galaxy, Lindt or M&S to cadburys they have always been far superior chocolate.

itsnothingoriginal · 05/04/2015 09:29

I noticed Cadburys now only contains 20% cocoa solids - thought it was more like 30% so has that changed along with the adding of shea butter?

Not been impressed with any of the eggs so far

lionheart · 05/04/2015 09:31

Has it really changed since the takeover?

TelephoneEggGnawingMachine · 05/04/2015 09:37

A lot of the cheap chocolate seems to have gone downhill recently. I've discovered Montezumas & Valrhona, yum! Too expensive for DD though - she likes Lindt!
