To think this new tooth should have come through by now

Posting here for traffic. Dd1 has lost a few teeth now the bottom ones fell out and the new ones quickly followed.
Her first top tooth fell out in the beginning of November and there is still no sign of a new one. She has lost another top one since then and now the one in between the two gaps is loose so she is going to be left with a huge gap in a matter of days. Should I be worried after 5 months?

my DS has the same problem with his top tooth. I'm not worried about it though. just think how much trouble some babies have teething, and how long it can take for their teeth to come through. and the dentist hasn't said theres anything to worry about either.

What does your dentist advise?

My dd lost a tooth in year 3 and it didn't come through till year 6! It sat in the gum but did not break through. Dentist wasn't worried and it got there in the end.

I wouldn't panic, my DS lost all 4 of his top middle teeth pretty much at the same time. The 2 Middle ones finally came through but they're so big the 2 either side haven't yet come through, it's been over a year now! I'm working on the theory that his mouth needs to be bigger to fit the adult sized teeth in

Thanks everyone. That's reassuring. I was ready to phone the dentist!
Her baby teeth came through very late, maybe this makes a difference to how long it takes the second teeth to come through, maybe not.
