To want to give up work?

I am so fed up of coming home stressed and in tears I always manage to mess up and come home thinking too much about it
Had a very awkward moment with my boss today, I made an assumption that I shouldn't have and now I feel awful and have been upset all evening.
Anyone have any tips on how to leave work at work?

Are u actually messing up? If so your manager should set aside meeting time to address issues.

If this is all in your head then u need to trust your ability and choose how u relax when you get home. Bath/ run/ book etc.

There must be some aspects you know u do well. Have confidence in those things.

Thanks shakemysilliesout!
Probably most of it in my head, I overthink things, especially when I think I have messed up.
I've had a rubbish evening and feel so stressed, need to learn to leave work at work :( x

Do you actually really want to give up work?

It's a huge decision to actually hand in your notice [been there and done it] but for me , at that time, it was the right thing to do and I've never regretted it, I'm back in work now, I hasten to add.

Maybe not give up work completely, I'm wondering if maybe a different career or working environment may be best!
I guess I've just had a rubbish day and have ruined my own evening worrying about what's happened and feeling bad and I needed to rant. Although giving up work completely may be nice for a few weeks! Xx
