that DH bought for me for times such as this, when I feel the need for sugar?

The reason for me wondering if IABU is that this morning I had huge pangs for sweet stuff, and so bought a 'sharing' bag of Revels, and of Minstrels, just to, you know, dip in and out of at work while doing wormy stuff and drinking my coffee.

But, what actually happened was I ate the whole bag of Revels, and about third of the bag of Minstrels. The only reason I didn't finish them was because I had a meeting to go to.

I don't normally pig out on chocolate, I have not weight issues in fact could probably do with putting on a few pounds after a weight crash after surgery recently

So. It's ok right? Grin

Never unreasonable to open chocolate...

However as you've already had an excess why not have grapes or something sweet that is a bit healthier? :)

WishUponAStar88 · 23/03/2015 20:42

I say crack open the chocolate :) but then I have just polished off a box of mini egg cakes so may not be the best person to advise ...

PavlovtheCat · 23/03/2015 20:42

no grapes, kids ate them all. Bad Children.

Could have an apple...

Ah. I see. You mean, like red grapes, in juice? Grin

50/50. so, add my own vote into this. Chocolate is winning. 5 more minutes, then I'll count the final votes Grin

It would be rude not to. The poor galaxy bar will think you like the other chocolate bars better if you don't Smile

Lifesalemon · 23/03/2015 20:46

Grapes and apples are no good if you need chocolate, you eat the grapes and then the apple and they don't hit the spot so you eat the chocolate anyway. Cut the calories and go straight for the chocolate. Grin

PavlovtheCat · 23/03/2015 20:50

life exactly what I was thinking, too much sugar if I do both Grin

bicycle not to mention upsetting DH's feelings, as he was very pleased 'did you see the present I bought you?' after yesterday's chocolate pang was not satisfied. He will be sad if I don't eat it.

today. creme egg biscuits, chocolates someone brought back from holiday, malteser bunnies. I left the topic, i'll have that tomorrow. I really don't have a sweet tooth normally, i may or may not be very very hormonal.

SconessMcFloness · 23/03/2015 20:54

I think the longer you think about and crave the choc the more you eat when you eventually open it....so best to go to it ASAP.

Lifesalemon · 23/03/2015 20:57

And i think it would be more sensible to eat it all now as if you save half you will face this dilemma again tomorrow, best to just get rid of it all tonight.

PavlovtheCat · 23/03/2015 21:07

I have eaten all but 4 chunks. I physically can't eat them. I feel a tinsy bit sick now Grin

definitely filled a chocolate craving. I might have those last squares for breakfast before the children realise they are still there.

clean i don't either normally. I tend to have moments of it, but normally I can happily eat a few squares and that's enough. Lately though I have had cravings for more chocolate, and been less able to stop. I usually find the little chocolates like minstrels are harder to stop eating as they are sort of designed to keep dipping your hand in, until all gone.

Jelly sweets though, now, they are a vice. i can easily eat an entire packet of cola bottles or haribos (not the 10p packets either) without blinking. Don't do it often, for that very reason.
