University Challenge! Oh I'm over the moon, I'd like to thank my parents, my educators and especially Le Paxman himself.

Congratulations. Your Nobel Prize is in the post Grin

I got a really hard science question right once....DH didn't even see, he was snoring away!

nikkinack · 23/03/2015 21:41

Awesome high score Grin I never get close to that, even with my special scoring system that gives me half a point if I guess the same wrong answer as the team.

Charlotte3333 · 23/03/2015 21:43

Don't think I've ever answered a single question correctly. I did once win a pub quiz whilst spangled on cheap white wine, though. Swings and roundabouts.

Have you made yourself a certificate yet?

Pyjamasandwine · 23/03/2015 21:44

God you are clever. I struggled with telly addicts.

Well done op good on you. Grin

University challenge used to be on a Sunday afternoon - whenever i hear the intro music i can smell my mum's roast potatos!

deste · 23/03/2015 21:52

It's when I hear the questions and not have a clue what they meant that I know why I didn't go to university.

MsJupiter · 23/03/2015 22:52

I got a question about CHESS right!

Pleased as Punch.

FarFromAnyRoad · 23/03/2015 22:59

There are few things as pain inducing as getting the right answer to a tricky question at the exact same moment that everyone else had fallen asleep/gone for a piss/decided to make tea/gone out for a fag/whatever. Nobody ever believes you when you tell them about the stroke of genius they just missed.

I once got a starter and all 3 follow ups correct. Once. I identified types of wood joints Grin

Spermysextowel · 24/03/2015 06:18

My answer to any maths question is 'four!' I have a surprisingly high success rate, despite not understanding the question.
