Gap year in Australia at a school

I remember someone years ago doing this in a boarding school. My DS may be interested but don't know how to go about.

Can anyone help and if your DC did go did they enjoy it?

Thanks

You can still do it. There are some organisations that arrange placements and there are some schools you apply directly to.
I think googling is going to be your best option.
Not much help from me I'm afraid.

this is probably what you need to look at wep.org.au/info/countries?gclid=CNzi5YGSu8QCFRZxvAodCncAqg

I did this in a different country (though I'm sure they do Oz too) through GAP Activity Projects. I had a fantastic time!

Just looked and they seem to have changed their name to Latitude Global Volunteering (www.gap.org.uk). Might be worth a look...

I went ti boarding school and we had 'GAP girls', mostly from Australia and New Zealand, but also a few Canadians. I imagine the arrangements are reciprocal.
