I'm furious!! I'm so mad that I'm way past mad.

I'm jumping up the walls, pulling the curtains from the Windows and screaming out the door like a banshee mad!!

How many times do I have to say it??? I have said it so many times my head is spinning!!!

My husband is up there now probably doing it....well I won't say it again!!! No way!! I will just burn our house down to the ground, then I will no longer have to say "put the fu#&$ing toilet seat down John!!"

AIBU?

Haha, thank you and goodnight!!

Why? How does it hurt you to have to put the seat down? Do you put it up again after you have finished?

Never really understood why it makes anyone so angry really. He has to lift it, you have to put it down. Both putting in equal amounts of effort. And if he didn't lift the seat you'd be more angry about splashes.

CaptainAnkles · 19/03/2015 20:36

I've probably missed the point haven't i?

whoeverWhatever · 19/03/2015 21:01

I think so captain Smile

I'm not sure who this John is but I feel sorry for him having a banshee wife.....plus the curtains were probably awful anyway.
Let's just hope her MIL doesn't find out though, she was probably the one who bought them haha. Wine Wink

Maybe John's splashes could put the fire out?

John probably leaves the seat up on purpose as it pisses her off, now she knows how it feels when he constantly has to say can you Move out the way of the tv Jane....I'm playing PlayStation here!!! Wink

WhingeyMinge · 19/03/2015 21:18

I would prefer it if DP put the seat up and left it up so that I only had to put it down rather than have to wipe his urine off the seat every time I need to sit on it! ??

iklboo · 19/03/2015 21:20

I've shown the poo spray video & mythbusters footage of faecal flourishes. STILL the bloody seat is up.

Never mind the (I think) Chinese superstition that money is drained down open toilets......

calmexterior · 19/03/2015 21:25

See my DH puts it down but every now and then he likes to mix it up a little and surprise me... Like I discovered last night when I went for a pee in the dark and sat down on the bare rim Angry

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 19/03/2015 21:34

If my dh hadn't left the toilet seat up my phone wouldn't have gone in it when it fell out of my pocket. Hmm

Is this one of those things that only makes sense if you're watching the same TV programme as the OP?
