Ok it's not obem but it was amazing!! We have tons of frog spawn in both one of the ponds (we have two - one for fish, one for wildlife) and in a shallow container. There are now two tadpoles in the container.

I might name them

Call them mums and net

Our koi are called cheese and crackers and ant and dec. They were named by dd 2.

She will no doubt wish to name these two as well.

I also found a frog in a bucket which was helped out and then it trampolined it's way over the pond net ..was quite amusing.

Mr toad, who is enormoms has not arrived for his summer holidays in our pond yet. It's not a big garden and its not a massive pond but I do like all the visitors we get.

Poorly DH interrupted very time sensitive "getting ready for school " this morning with "I've spotted a goldfinch taking a bath ". I almost kicked off and then decided the world should stand still for a minute while we all enjoy the moment. And then the usual mayhem recommenced.

Dd 2 has named them Bob and fin.

There are now loads of them :)

Sparky I think sometimes we are so busy being busy we forget to stop and look around us. We just spent a couple of hours faffing about tidying up the garden and its all just quietly springing to life.
