Okay - my work is home care, I don't pay tax usually, only very occasionally.

Some of my colleagues have mentioned sending off tax forms to set against washing their uniforms and fuel/petrol allowance.

Can I do this, if I don't pay tax?

And if so, how?

Thanks :)

You can only claim it back if you've paid income tax.

Look through HMRC, there will be a form to fill in, and if you paid ANY income tax last year, you should be able to claim some (all?) tax back.
DON'T pay anyone to fill in the paperwork. It is free to do.

I wasn't thinking of paying anyone don't worry Grin

I have paid a bit of income tax through this job but mainly through my other job. Can I claim that back?
