To think DS2 may have been a little over generous?

He's given me a little book of vouchers:

-1 free cup of tea
-1 free flowerbed weeding
-1 free hoover of living room
-1 free washing up
-1 free winder clean (stet)
-1 free hoover of stairs
-1 free door knob polish
-1 free table polish
-1 free dishwasher emptying
-1 free hug

Some of these jobs haven't been done here in months and, apparently, he's going to do them all today Grin

Best gift ever Grin

Ohbollocksandballs · 15/03/2015 09:41

That's very sweet Grin If a little optimistic. How old is he?

Holepunch · 15/03/2015 09:52

You're right monkeysox. I'm going to claim the tea and the hug, at least.

He's 11, so sould know that window isn't spelt the way the locals say it Grin

Ds1 got daff, which are my favourite (low maintenance!) flowers. The boys done well. I dread them spending loads on tatt produced just for Mother's Day.

What a lovely lad you have there.

arethereanyleftatall · 15/03/2015 10:09

Perfect!

stealthsquiggle · 15/03/2015 10:12

I love that he plans to do them all today to get it over and done with. I would definitely be banking some of them for a shitty Tuesday when you really need someone else to empty the dishwasher for a change.

BikeRunSki · 15/03/2015 10:12

How thoughtful.

velourvoyageur · 15/03/2015 10:21

oh christ. I did this once, went way overboard. My mum tucked them away, suddenly remembered them a year later. I claimed they'd gone out of date Blush such an awful daughter!

trulymadlyme · 15/03/2015 10:22

lol - I read it as winder as in something that winds and imagined him cleaning some sort of contraption that winds blinds or garage doors!

kissmethere · 15/03/2015 11:20

That is the best ever! What a lovely gift!
Dh is doing tea making a brunch at the mo.

Fairenuff · 15/03/2015 11:25

I would get him to polish the door knob though, I reckon he put that one in for himself Grin

Horsemad · 15/03/2015 11:28

What a brilliant gift, thoughtful boy. Smile

ilovesooty · 15/03/2015 11:31

Your son sounds great.

Fairenuff · 15/03/2015 11:56
