Darling dcs and dh are downstairs concocting breakfast and giving me a lie in. I am wide awake and starving. Shall I call them on the phone and say??

Can you not send you dh a text just to say "good morning, I'm awake when the children want to come up"

I just got up, let the animals out/in made myself a cuppa & am in bed with a tube of choccy hobnobs, want one?!

If I waited for my teens to get up I'd die of thirst!

Can you call down the stairs 'shall I die of thirst and hunger up here alone?'

Dd stood outside the bedroom door at half seven on the dot and bellowed " do you want your toast now?" I got pink toast as she thought it looked nice when she mixed the butter and jam!
