... because I have a huge, black bruise down there???

I am booked in for a swab to be taken tomorrow (have to have an STI test before referral to fertility clinic is done) but I have somehow managed to get the worlds biggest, and blackest, bruise... Right there!

God knows how I have done it! Not had any particular rough encounters that would have caused it but it is so obvious, and ginormous I am very tempted to cancel my appointment as I darent show the nurse!!!

I'd go because, as embarrassing as it might be, I'd bruising like that without cause checked out.

I wouldn't. Honestly, they don't flinch. I have vitiligo and my vulva looks like an ink blot test. Not one of them has batted an eye lid.

It's on skin, kinda where the very top of your inner thigh joins your lady bits. On the hair line, next to the enterance to lady land is basically the best way to describe it!

i wouldn't! no shame! i probably would acknowledge it with the nurse though in a humorous way.. I have a skin tag and whenever I have a smear i usually giggle and say sorry about that.. the indignity of childbirth wanted to stay with me forever!!

I will have to make some sort of reference to it, it really is in your face ginormous and obvious!!!

Honestly, I doubt a bruised genital area is the worst a nurse has seen. I'd just go.
