AIBU to think it won't be very hot there over Easter? We are thinking of booking but I want warmth!! Can't really go in the summer when I know it will be hotter so wondering what April will be like?

I went in August last year. It was in the high 40's / low 50's - yes you read that right, they had a heat wave, the poster before who said it wasnt warm in August must have been on a different island to me.

I went at the end of June a few years ago..thought it was going to be scorching but there was such a strong, cold wind I needed a cardigan at night! In June!!

We went to Tenerife last january and it was glorious most days. Low 20s, so not hot, but felt like lovely spring weather. Was a real winter tonic, considering how cheap the flights were. I wish I could do it every year.

Fuertuventura is supposed to be the windy one of the canaries, but its going to be better weather than the UK isnt it. I do recommend the northern parts of tenerife though. Wasnt keen on the south as it was very british seaside resort but with sunshine, although we did go whale watching which was fab
