My son is 7 months today. Good sleeper at night but his daytime sleep has started to become so erratic!

Today he woke up at 5! And had half an hour sleep 9-9.30. After lunch (12.30) I took him out for a walk for 2 hours - he slept for 15 mins of it! Even though he rubbed his eyes all the way home! I've given him a bottle so he's fed but now he's whinging. Have tried him upstairs with dummy and white noise but he just rolls around and plays. If I hold him he pushes against me and pulls on my hair!

Help!!

Mine is 6 months. I would suggest you try to put him down regularly so you don't miss the signs but don't stress when it doesn't work. They all sleep eventually.

Oh and if he wants to use his nap time to roll around and play I'd leave him at it. It's great he'll do that!!!

Thank dr! He used to be such a good sleeper during day but it's all changed recently as he's started to have a few longer naps at lunchtime - hence the two hour walk! Thought it was good timing for him but he's fighting them so much recently!

Problem with letting him roll around is he eventually starts screaming!

I've currently got him in a sling with dummy and White noise - seems to be working!
