Just ate one of the kids half and half munch bunch yoghurts - half chocolate and half strawberry. Completely ruined by the strawberry IMHO. I remember the mr men chocolate yoghurts from when I was a kid - so yummy. Why don't they make chocolate yoghurts anymore? Also why can't you get the soft scoop choc ice cream any more - it's all Neapolitan - ruined again by the strawberry!

Mr Greedy chocolate yogurts from Sainsburys were so nice. I miss them.

I don't want puddingy things, I want a nice tangy chocolate yogurt.

FirstWeTakeManhattan · 08/03/2015 22:09

Tangy and chocolate don't work for me. Chocolate yoghurt sounds a bit unpleasant and wrong.

What isn't unpleasant or wrong is the remaining Salted Caramel Haagen Dazs I've just eaten to quell the inner beast make room in the freezer.

AnnaFiveTowns · 08/03/2015 22:19

I, too, miss the sainsbury's chocolate yoghurts. I've searched over the years but nobody seems to make them. However, a few months ago my dd decided to make me a "treat" from bits and pieces in the fridge. I was presented with a chocolate desert in a glass and thought, oh bloody hell! - but it actually tasted just like the old chocolate yoghurts! Anyway, she'd mixed Greek yoghurt with melted chocolate and lemon juice and it was bloody lovely!

Muller do a 99 calorie chocolate flavour yogurt.

No need to think me Grin

FuckItBucket · 08/03/2015 22:22

I like those cheap chocolate yogurts with the plastic cream on top. You can get them in strawberry too but those ones taste like medicine

Mullers are too sweet, and not yogurty enough Sad

Elledouble · 08/03/2015 22:26

Does anyone else remember Fiendish Feet yoghurts? They came in pots that had feet on the bottom and monster faces. There was definitely a chocolate one of those. They were the biggest treat ever.

ShatnersBassoon · 08/03/2015 22:27

If it has cream atop it, it's definitely a pudding and won't cut the mustard with me.

I'm living in the past when it comes to yogurt. I love Longley Farm ones, lovely and thick and tangy, but they don't do chocolate.

FuckItBucket · 08/03/2015 22:28

Those?

I don't, I might be too young.

I loved the yogurts that came in building brick containers. Onka Nonks or something.

No one remembers them so might be a dream

That was them! Amazing. Who wouldn't want a yoghurt with feet?!

Jinglebells99 · 08/03/2015 22:31

I was on holiday in Crete a couple of years ago and they had a big glut of chocolate yoghurt at breakfast every day. It was lush. Can't understand why you can't buy it here.

treaclesoda · 08/03/2015 22:33

As a child my favourite treat was a Yoplait chocolate yoghurt. They came in a pack of four, like the fruit ones, but in plain cream and brown packaging. Quite like the colour scheme of an early 1980s kitchen in fact!

I've just googled them and can't even find a picture of one Sad

treaclesoda · 08/03/2015 22:34

I'd forgotten about those monster yoghurts!

PtolemysNeedle · 08/03/2015 22:34

I tried a posh looking chocolate yoghurt a couple of weeks ago. I had really high hopes and got all excited about my chocolate yoghurt. It was a massive anti climax. It was vile. Made with coconut milk. Shatners' if you like tangy, it might have worked for you.

ShatnersBassoon · 08/03/2015 22:36

Coconut milk? No thank you, madam!

MrsTawdry · 08/03/2015 22:37

I loved those monster things. But does anyone remember when you could buy a Ski strawberry yogurt that was really sharp? Not so much added sugar I guess...and they were never marketed as diet. Yogurt seems too sweet to me these days.

FuckItBucket · 08/03/2015 22:38

I loved these too!

Fair enough! Smile

I'd never realised coconut milk could be so offensive in a chocolate yoghurt, but it really was.

Elledouble · 08/03/2015 22:40

'Frufoo' sounds funny. Fnaaar.

CointreauVersial · 08/03/2015 22:40

I used to love hazelnut yogurts.

rubyshoes3 · 08/03/2015 22:41

You can buy really nice chocolate yogurt from Lidl. It comes in one of them big tubs, and it is delicious.

ShatnersBassoon · 08/03/2015 22:42

I get hazelnut ones still, Longley Farm from Morrisons. Thick and old-fashioned tangy lovely things.

treaclesoda · 08/03/2015 22:42

You can still get hazelnut yoghurts, I saw them in Asda this afternoon Smile

FuckItBucket · 08/03/2015 22:44

I like the munch bunch apricot ones.

Can't beat them
