There are a lot of threads I think are pointless; I just don't post on them!

I wouldn't call it rude but it's certainly pointless.

If I click on a thread I consider pointless, I just don't go back there, it wouldn't occur to me to be rude about its content.

You could argue all the threads are pointless, they're anonymous for one thing and we only have the OP's word that it's actually true.

Oh the irony.

It is rude, and pointless. But it's their way of adding it to the threads they are on so they can check back!!
