So we have 3 dc. Life can be quite noisy in the lounge. Often dc will talk whilst I watch tv. I do try to discourage this but its only a tv program. Similarly when dh has sound up on tablet whilst I am watching tv. Yet if dc talk when he is watching something or youngest turns sound on tablet he gets quite cross. Similarly older 2 play a racing game on tv. They get cross if I walk past. Both dh and I will say its only a game. Yet dh has just shouted at dd1 for blocking screen by walking past when he is playing.
Aibu to think he is being selfish and well abit entitled.

I think you need to turn off the tv and go out outside for a walk as a family.

weeblueberry · 08/03/2015 12:58

It's a heinous act to walk in front of the TV when a game is being played. Fact.

Unless its a life or death situation in real life... Wink

Agree with Coney, switch everything off and maybe speak to each other.

You need to model the behaviour you expect to to see so YANBU

adventuretime11 · 08/03/2015 13:01

Now dh won't do that. I am out at the park with dc so he can play his game in peace.

I'm with wee

My brother ronde walked in front of me while I was playing Spyro The Dragon.

I was so close to finally getting through a level I was stuck on for weeks and he ruined it. He made that poor dragon die again.

I never got past that level Sad

Just shout 'shut the fuck up or go to bed'

Used to work back in day Grin

This pisses me off actually, smacks of one rule for them and none for you. DS tried this until I reciprocated Grin
